Gargamel's application to Powerslave

1. Please provide the Name, Class, and Race of the main character you have that you would be interested in raiding with. Please list your alts characters in the order you would prefer to play them.  Also note that we currently allow 3 raid toons, a main and 2 alts, set in stone that can only be changed with officer approval:

2. Ideally, how many nights a week on average you would like to spend raiding?
 three nights
3(a). Generally speaking Powerslave raids during the week(Sun-Thur) 8pm - 12:00am Eastern time. What nights would you be unable to raid?
Weekends
3(b). Given our normal raiding times, what days would you need to start late or leave early? Please provide the date, expected depart/arrival time.
Just rarely/randomly depending on Real life

4. Describe your play-style, for example are you ultra-competitive, very social, a loner, etc.
none of the above. i dont really have a stereotype. I get along with people

5. Were you recruited by someone specifically? If so who?
no. My guild disbanded. (The Honey Squad). and wanted to try out for Powerslave, because 2 of my friends are also applying.
6. Do you have any friends, or have any particular association with any current Powerslave members? If so, who?
not really. but me and two other friends are applying. hopefully we can get in
7. What Guild(s) are you in, or have you been a part of? Please indicate any guild you plan to continue to be a member of while also a member of Powerslave. I have been a Member of "Hairy Fuzz" which then turned into "The honey Squad". We all agreed to disband, due to a lack of toon numbers and are now trying out new things

8. What prompted you apply to join our guild?
This is the best guild in the server. It would be really cool to try some high end EQ gaming
9. How long have you been playing EQ?
in this Server for 4 months. i used to play back in the day
10. Have you played any other MMO's? If so, which ones?
I used to play Wow for a bit. but mainly EQ

I dont have any tradeskills yet

I plan to help any of my guild members, and attend raids.

do you have max disarm trap?

Hello Tollen. I dont have disarm trap lvled up. I havent had to use it.
Im figuring out where to lvl it.

Recommend Levelling it at the trainer I'd you have the points, costs like 4-5k. Otherwise I believe sola/solb both have traps you can use to level up on, it will take hours to get it where you need to be though

Ive spent all my points for trainer. But ill go to Sola /Solb and lvl it there then.

Do you know of any rogue in your guild that i could talk to about disarm traps? I think its broken. ive been to DN, sola, solb, i cant disarm anything. i seem to trigger them all but not disarm. im not sure if im missing out on something.

Alcandre/Vyrok/Kenjo would know. he sugested Sola/b, think you have to "sense" the trap first?

hmmm im not sure, i maxed sense trap by just binding it to a key i use, since you dont have to be near a trap for your sense trap to go up. then i trained disarm trap to max at the trainer. rosey/cosey/dosey skilled up his disarm trap the old fashioned way, maybe he could help you.

when you go to the crusher in solb does it say <failed to disarm trap> or <there are no traps to disarm>?

I would say there are no traps to disarm. But...

WOw. I just realized i had trained disarm traps but not sense trap. so I wasnt sensing traps. the skill lvl is at 0. and i have no points left. is there anything i could do?

you dont have to be near a trap to skill up sense trap, just hit the button whenever its up

yeah but i have never trained it, and dont have any points left. I put out a petition to see if i can get atleast one point to train
