Upfront: I am not yet level 55. It was suggested that I submit and application in advance, though, in hopes of getting to know the members in the mean time and see if there is any way to participate in activities with the guild.
1. Please provide the Name, Class, and Race of the main character you have that you would be interested in raiding with. Please list your alts characters in the order you would prefer to play them. Also note that we currently allow 3 raid toons, a main and 2 alts, set in stone that can only be changed with officer approval:
A. Main - Surin - 51 Wood Elf Ranger

2. Ideally, how many nights a week on average you would like to spend raiding?
A. Ideally I'd raid 2-3 nights a week. Likely closer to 2 nights given the below raid schedule. It may be possible to make more, pending the boss (read: wife).
3(a). Generally speaking Powerslave raids during the week(Mon-Thur) 8pm - 12:00am Eastern time & on the weekend(Sundays), 6pm - 10pm Eastern. What nights would you be unable to raid?
A. Sunday : Available
Monday : Not Available (D&D Night)
Tuesday - Thursday : Would need to leave by around 10:30, possibly 11:00 PM ET
3(b). Given our normal raiding times, what days would you need to start late or leave early? Please provide the date, expected depart/arrival time.
A. See above.
4. Describe your play-style, for example are you ultra-competitive, very social, a loner, etc.
A. I'm typically a pretty social guy (hence MMOs!). I've been a bit solo leveling, mainly because it's been the holidays and I haven't been able to guarantee I'd be on for any extended period of time. I would consider myself cooperative moreso than competitive. I like to do things with others, though, be it exping, camping new items, raiding, questing, etc., when it makes sense.
5. Were you recruited by someone specifically? If so who?
A. Not necessarily by any one person, but Tollen has been very available to answer any questions I've had since I started playing.
6. Do you have any friends, or have any particular association with any current Powerslave members? If so, who?
A. As above, Tollen has been available for a lot of questions I've had. For a short period of time I was a hide and silk vendor to Tolixs. Did some grouping with Zeonicks on his alts. Beyond that, just what OOC has had to offer in terms of chatting with people (again, since it's been the holidays, I haven't wanted to sign up for anything only to have to suddenly leave).
7. What Guild(s) are you in, or have you been a part of? Please indicate any guild you plan to continue to be a member of while also a member of Powerslave.
A. I am currently a member of Noble Heroes. Pending on the need of my alts (Tanthalar, Druid; Jeyza, Enchanter), they would remain part of Noble Heroes.
8. What prompted you apply to join our guild?
A. I was recently playing on P99 and had been for almost a year. Prior to P99, I had never experienced Kunark or later content, and while P99 gave me some exposure to that, the raid scene there was not an enjoyable experience. Part of my reasoning for joining P2002 was to get a chance to experience all of the content (raid and otherwise) I had never seen. Powerslave seems like my best opportunity to do that. On top of that, the guild members in general seem to be stellar individuals and it seems like a positive atmosphere. I also appreciate that the guild is understanding regarding real life commitments.
9. How long have you been playing EQ?
A. I played in beta up to a few months after release. I got to experience Fear and Hate, but quit prior to Kunark. I joined P99 shortly before Velious, and during that time I got to see some Kunark content including VS and Trak, Plane of Sky, Fear and Hate. I've also had the chance to raid HoT in ToV.
10. Have you played any other MMO's? If so, which ones?
A. Too many. I started with UO back in 1997 or 1998 and up until probably 2010 or so, had played just about every mainstream MMO that was released (UO, EQ, WoW, SB, AC, AC2, DAoC, Rift, AoC.... and many, many more). Since then I started to feel the released MMOs were getting very generic and haven't played as many. I did play SW:TOR for a while prior to it going F2P.
11. Have you read the rules for joining our guild? They are found by clicking [here]. Do you agree to follow these rules? If not, please explain.
A. I agree.
12. What is your RL age and location (Time Zone specifically)?
A. 31, Northeast US, ET Time Zone.
13. What, if any, tradeskills are you involved in?
A. None currently.
14. How do you plan to contribute to the guild? How do you expect the guild to help you?
A. By making myself available to assist the guild and individuals in completing things. Be it joining along to help someone with their epic, assisting in another quest to provide someone with an item upgrade that would make them more capable for raiding, etc. As mentioned above, I just like to do stuff with people, so even if it's as simple as farming SG for gems for a guild bank, I'd be up for it most of the time. As for how the guild can help me, I just desire to see content. I know that means being appropriately geared, so when I need a hand obtaining something that would be an upgrade, and which I couldn't do myself, I would hope others would be willing to lend a hand. Otherwise, giving me the chance to see and do stuff is sufficient.
15. Why do Halflings taste like chicken?
A. Little known fact, Halflings are hatched from eggs.
